Introduction
Insulated cable ends contain a tinned copper ferrule fitted with an insulated sleeve. The copper ferrule
holds the core strands of stranded wire and facilitates terminal connections. The insulated plastic sleeve
provides protection between adjacent connections. Also, the insulated sleeve on some cable end types
incorporates an attachment for cable markers.
