The above data are for guidance only. It has been determined using standardized test pieces and can vary within normal tolerances.
The combustibility classification refers to the material and deviations are possible in finished parts if these have a different material strength.
Material Properties of Plastics
1)
The ability of the enclosure to maintain their shape when subject to heat depends on a seal being inserted. The temperature resistance can still be affected by mechanical stress.

Bopla can:
(A) Machine Surfaces to 125 micro inches or better
(B) Deburr / Break All Sharp Edges

Masking Surfaces Prior To Painting
Rose
+
Bopla will mask all threaded surfaces and connector mating surfaces prior to primer
and paint application.
Chemical Surface Treatments
Gold Irridite: Mil Spec #C-5541-Class 1A
Clear Irridite: Mil Spec #C-5541-Class 3
NOTE: Gold irriditing to Mil Spec C-5541-Class 1A offers superior protection, but creates a less conductive surface for
grounding or shielding. Clear irriditing to Mil Spec C-5541-Class 3 offers less protection from corrosion, but leaves a
conductive surface which is recommended for optimum EMI shielding. All machined surfaces are irridited after machining.
Anodizing
Mil Spec # A 8625: Black Anodize Class 2 Type 2, Nickel acetate sealcoat test.
Federal Standard #595A: Color 37038
NOTE: All machined surfaces can be anodized after machining.
