allowstheDRCtoimplementnegative-slopetransfercurveswithinagivenregion.Negative-slopetransfer
curvesareusuallynotassociatedwithcompressionandexpansionoperations,butthedefinitionofthese

combinationofdigitalandanaloggain/attenuation.VaryingtheH-bridgepower-supplyvoltageperforms
theanalogvolumecontrolfunction.Thebenefitsofusingpower-supplyvolumecontrol(PSVC)are
reducedidlechannelnoise,improvedsignalresolutionatlowvolumes,increaseddynamicrange,and
reducedradiofrequencyemissionsatreducedpowerlevels.ThePSVCisenabledviaI

thePSVCprovidesaPWMoutputthatisfilteredtoprovideareferencevoltageforthepowersupply.The
power-supplyadjustmentrangecanbesetfor–-12.04,–18.06,or–24.08dB,toaccommodatearangeof
